Part 4 of 4: England

I know, I know it has been a long time since we posted and this post is actually way overdue! A lot has happened over the last few weeks and we promise in due time we will post all about it. But for now, we would like to take you to the last city on our vacation and share about our experiences there.

After leaving Ireland, we packed our bags and were so excited about the next place on our trip: England! Once arriving we had a car rented and decided to drive over to Oxford. We didn't have the car long so we decided to go someplace close and we heard Oxford was nice. Another reason for going was that, as many of you know, Oti Bunaciu and Andy Brockbank (two people we work with) are both graduates of Oxford. The town was nice, but unfortunatly we didn't stay long. The next day we headed back into London, checked our car in for a pair of sneakers and hit the ground running. The only way to really see London is on foot anyway.

There is so much to tell because there was so much to see. We did all the tourist stuff we had time for and even were able to attend a musical in Leichester Square. In addition to the great city and the great things we saw, we ate some unbelievable food. London is such an ecclectic city with different nationalities, thus bringing many different foods. You can imagine how happy Wes was.

It would take a lot to share everything so here are points and some pictures to follow. If you want to hear more just email. So, here are some of the things we did/saw:

-Tower of London
-London Bridge
-Westminster Abbey
-Parliament
-Big Ben
-National Gallery
-British Museum
-Buckingham Palace/Changing of the guards

There were so many more things we saw and did in between like take a walk by Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus, went to Sussex Gardens and saw Richard Bronson, and learned our way around the London Tube system.

The trip was fun and exhausting. We are glad to be home and are glad we have these wonderful pictures and memories to share.

Stay tuned for upcoming posts about our parents visit, the International Women's Day at the Ruth School and Wes' trip to Negresti. Much more to come, stay tuned...

This is a trip I would love to take some day... London... expecially if I can avoid Heathrow.
