Virginians Hold Bible Club in Segarcea & Craiova

Several weeks ago I (Wes) went to Craiova and Segarcea with a group from Virginia to hold a Bible Club in Segarcea where Project Ruth has an extension center. The group did a great job and I learned a lot from them. Their leader was a high school senior, named Brittney, who has been to Romania several times and hopes one day to move here. Over the course of the week, the group led the children in crafts, bible stories, recreation, and music. The children enjoyed themselves all week. The group did a great job and really showed love to all the kids.

One day we went to a part of town outside of Craiova where Roma are living in former military barracks. The living conditions were bad. The condition of the kids gave me a better persepective on how successful Project Ruth has been in the children's lives at the Ruth School.

Here are some pictures from the week.
