Well, we last left off with telling you we were leaving for Prague. We are back now and had a wonderful time. The purpose of our trip was for our "All Team Meeting." For those of you that don't know, CBF field personnel are structured into teams. We meet with our teams every 6 months or so. Each team has a supervisor. But every three years, the teams under each supervisor come together for an "All Team Meeting." We really enjoyed the fellowship with the people from CBF. We reunited with people we knew and made new friendships with people we didn't know before. Throughout the week we had times of worship, organizing, planning and playing!
In our free time we took advantage of being in Prague and set out to see the sites. Prague is a very beautiful city and I highly recommend visiting there. I would like to say not to go in July, it was so crowded! Even though it was crowded we still enjoyed ourselves. We went to town with people from our group, saw the sights and visited over a cup of coffee (or ice-cream).
The location of our meeting was at IBTS (International Baptist Theological Seminary). CBF and IBTS have had a strong relationship for many years. It was neat to get to be on the campus and meat many of the people that work there. Many of the names we had heard from Baptist life and working with Project Ruth, as they also have a partnership with Project Ruth. It was nice to put faces with the names.
We are glad to be back home now. We have had a few weeks to rest and reorganize before our next trip. This time we are going to Moldova, so stay tuned...
