It's A Boy!

Nearly 2 weeks ago Alex and Manuella (Manu) gave birth a healthy Baby Boy! Lucas Cristian Ghita was born on October 29, 2008. He weighed 6.6 lbs and measured 19.5 inches. Many of you have already heard through the Facebook Project Ruth group or via the Project Ruth Prayer Calendar. But we wanted to officially announce it here.

For those of you who do not know, Alex is a co-worker of ours at Project Ruth. He and his wife, Manu, are dear friends. We have enjoyed getting to know them over the last 2 years and now look forward to getting to know their new son, Lucas.

Yesterday we went over to their apartment to officially meet Lucas and see how they all are doing. Lucas slept most of the time. There were a few moments that he would wake, readjust and go right back to sleep. He is so precious!
