Let me bring you up to speed on what's been happening the last few weeks.
Right after Christmas Wes and I prepared for our separate travels. Wes took a trip to Jordan and Isreal with a UMHB (our alma mater) professor and group of 25 others. He set off on the 28th for a 2 week tour of the Holy Lands. He had a great time but came home exhausted.
In the meantime, my parents flew me back to Texas. They thought I would be bored and lonely (which I would have been) if I stayed in Bucharest all by myself. It was a fast trip but great to see family. I am sorry to all of you who I did not get to see.
Wes and I returned to Romania and the following week we held our winter session of Gypsy Smith School. Wes was more occupied than I was but we both enjoyed meeting the 2 professors, Michael Usey and Charles Massey. They left on Saturday morning after a wonderful week of fellowship and teaching.
Which brings us to Sunday. We have caught up on our rest, re-stocked the house with groceries, and are ready for another work week starting tomorrow. I have skipped a lot of details but most of you already know what happened.
We officially have less than 5 months left in Romania and we are worried at how fast the time will fly. We are pausing to enjoy every moment and to savor life in Romania. While doing this we also have to move forward with the job search and preparations for returning to the States. The next few months should be interesting. **Still to come: Pictures from Wes' trip**
