Around and Around

Sorry for delay in posting. We have been all over the place with little time to blog. Here is the update since posting last.

We had a wonderful dinner in Dallas a week ago Saturday and then from there went onto Jodi and Steve's. They just bought a new house and were kind enough to put us up for a few nights. On Monday we (just the two of us) went to a Rangers game. They played the World Series Champs, the White Sox and of course they lost. But it was still a fun game, great seats, great weather. While our nights were spent visiting the Wilson's our days were spent with much needed reading. Wednesday was our last day with them and then off to Tawakoni...

We headed east to Lake Tawakoni where Wes' parents live. Our time there was fun, eventful and relaxing. Saturday was Garland's birthday (Wes' dad) and we went to Rockwall to see the rest of Wes' family for a goodbye/happy birthday dinner. It was so good to see family, we can't remember the last time we saw them. Then we spent Father's Day morning with them and went to church. Wes was asked to teach the Sunday School lesson and he did a fantastic job! His parents were so proud. We had to leave immediatley after lunch and head to Belton to see Susan's parents. We had a quiet evening at home and then watched the Mav's game. Well Wes watched the game and the rest of us sat outside playing cribbage.

Today has been a very busy day. We went running this morning and then gave our car a much needed cleaning. We spent all afternoon packing for Atlanta. We leave tomorrow morning for the CBF General Assembly. Then to end the day right, Susan's old job is throwing a going away party tonight.

So starting tomorrow we might not be in touch again for a few days but we will keep you updated on how the Assembly went. Thank you all for your prayers!
