By the end of our first week in Bucharest, we were able to get out of the city to see the countryside. The final destination was Bran where we visited Castle Bran, but on the way we swung by Brasov.
Our first interaction with Gyspy children occured with a team from Knollwood Baptist Church in North Carolina. Maria, Nancy, Emily, and Ken made up the team and did an amazing job. They led three Bible Clubs (one in Mizil and two in Bolintin) while also getting their hands dirty at the Ruth Center. Not only did they bring smiles to the faces of the children while sharing the love of Jesus with them, but they were also Christ to us by encouraging and supporting us in our faith and ministry. We are grateful for the crossing of our paths here in Bucharest and for the extend family they are to us!
