This is our first Christmas in Romania and we wanted to make it fun and extra special! Due to all the celebrations and events taking place at church this time of year, we decided to celebrate early. Yesterday, we started the day by heading out to the mall to pick out the perfect Christmas gifts for each other. Susan has been wanting some new perfume so we made our way to Sephora to buy Pure White Linen by Estee Lauder.
Wes wants a new pair of shoes but couldn't find exactly what he wants, but the search is still on for that perfect pair of shoes. (We might need to buy them in Hungary, so his Christmas isn't over yet)
After spending the day shopping it was time for dinner. Here is what we had been looking forward to all day. We ate dinner at Benihana, a little taste of home (sort-of). For those of you who don't know, Benihana is a Japanese restaurant located in the United States and other parts of the world. We love Sushi and this was the best Sushi we have ever had! Maybe it is because we missed it so much =). Our plans next were to head downtown where you can go ice-skating outdoors. You don't find this much in Texas so we absolutely had to take advantage of this opportunity. It was a blast! We had a wonderful Christmas spending it together. We will never forget it.
