Monday September 17 classes started for kids in Bucharest, this was also true for the Ruth School. Students, parents and teachers arrived and were immediately organized by grades. After hearing a welcome from the school director and receiving an encouraging word from Tammy Stocks (our supervisor in Hungary), they filed grade by grade into their new classrooms. For some this was a new thing to attend classes at the Ruth School and for others it was a time to reunite with old friends. You saw many parents who came, seeing their children off and showing excitement for their first day of school. We were glad to be apart of it all.It was truly exciting to see the kids again all dressed up ready to pass out flowers to their teachers and other friends. Check out my slide show below of pictures from that day.
