September Gypsy Smith School

12 students attended this month's Gypsy Smith School. About half the class came from Braila (NE of Bucharst) and the other half came from Sighisoara (central Romania). This month the class was made up of mostly younger guys. It's great to see and know that younger leaders are growing in their faith and learning as they serve. We had one student graduate, Danut, which was bitter-sweet because he's such a great student and we won't see him as much.

We also had two great returning professors whom the students loved: Greg Barr, pastor of St. Andrew's Baptist Church in Columbia, SC and Charles Qualls, Associate Pastor of Pastoral Care at Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta, GA. Greg taught Matthew and Charles taught Prayer in the Life of Jesus. Spending the week with these guys was a blessing to us. We are thankful for their friendship and are honored that they are GSS faculty members.

Wes, when did you preach at Providence? Or is that a future event? I saw it on the sidebar.
