Just arrived this morning off the night train from Budapest and we are exhausted. In the midst of trying to relax and enjoy the holidays, we spent a lot of time shopping, eating, more shopping, playing games, visiting and even managed to squeeze in some last minute sightseeing.
As you may already know, our colleagues and supervisors live in Budapest and invited us to join them for Thanksgiving. We made the same trip last Thanksgiving and really enjoyed it. This year we were joined by two other CBF families who are also on our team; Glen and Clista Adkins serving in Pecs, Hungary and the McNary's (Shane, Dianne, Taylor and Allie) serving in Kosice, Slovakia.
The weekend events included celebrating Clista's birthday on Friday (actual birthday on Nov 28), Thanksgiving get-together with everyone on Saturday, Church with the Stocks on Sunday and sightseeing on Monday. It was such a blast and now I am more exhausted than before I left. But it was ALL worth it. Check out some pictures below:
