Reconnection

In the midst of the busyness of October, we were thrilled to host 2 of our friends and colleagues, Eric Bebber serving in D.C. and Taisha Rose in NYC. Last year when we were commissioned, there were 4 other people entering into the GSC position. Over the course of 9 months we became very close with these people as we went through exploratory, training and commissioning together. Then in September we all went our separate ways each to our specific assignment. Then one year later, 2 of those friends had an opportunity to come to Eastern Europe and decided to make Bucharest a stop on their trip. And we are glad they did. It was so refreshing to visit and catch up. We were able to hear about their ministries and their lives over the past year. During their stay here we showed them around Bucharest, a few cities in Romania, and the work we are apart of here at Project Ruth.

There is nothing like good fellowship and connection with other brothers and sisters in Christ. Eric and Taisha, we thank you for taking the time to come and visit us. We also want to congratulate Eric Bebber and Lizzie Fortenberry (GSCer in L.A. also commissioned with us). Just one day after Eric returned from Romania he flew to L.A. to propose to Lizzie. Congratulations and we are very happy for the both of you!
