and my heart is in Romania.
After a three week trip to the US, I finally made it back home to Bucharest and to Wes. During my time in the States I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement to be able to see family, friends and colleagues. Since my last post I traveled all over Texas to see family and friends and then made my way to Atlanta, GA to attend the New Baptist Covenant. By the end, I was exhausted but blessed at such a rewarding time in my other "home." While Texas brought me family time and shopping for essentials to take back, Atlanta brought me a time of reconnection and encouragement. I had fellowship with many CBF colleagues and visited with new friends and supporters of Project Ruth.
Since being back (officially landed Sunday morning), I have been trying to re-adjust to life and schedules here. I have had an easier time with jet lag this time around but am still feeling tired. I will get over that soon enough. Thanks for all your prayers as I travelled and was away from Wes. Check back for some of the photos I took while on vacation.
