The last official day of school for the Ruth School was last Friday, June 13th. The students had worked hard all year and it closed with a special celebration. Parents and families were invited to attend the event that took place outside in the courtyard. Teachers presented specific students from each grade with awards who had exhibited outstanding behavior, grades and overall performance. As they closed the year, students brought flowers to their teachers as a way of showing their appreciation for their commitment and devotion. As in every school on the last day, it was evident all the children were ready for summer.
As the school year comes to a close, a busy summer begins. Groups and teams will begin coming next week to spend time at Project Ruth. Most of them will be running a Bible Club for the Ruth School and neighborhood kids. It is busy and exciting time here at Project Ruth. Thank you for your prayers during the school year and we ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers throughout the summer.
